About the event
Have you been inspired to pursue a project, but perhaps hit creative roadblocks? Or maybe you haven’t been prioritizing time for your creativity, or just don’t know where to start?
This could be something concrete like a draft of a novel, or more abstract like a decision about where to put your professional energy.
By entering into a creative collaboration with the muse, you will be invited to see familiar patterns in new ways, challenge limiting beliefs about yourself and your work, and find playful solutions to sticky problems.
Having an active project or idea isn’t required - but being open to being struck by inspiration, is.
In this workshop series we will explore modalities like Intuitive Collage (10/6), Storytelling & Archetypes (10/20) and Dreamwork (11/2), for self-discovery and expression.
Each is a different door into the inner symbolic world, where the muse dances freely and with abandon. There you will discover (or re-discover), the narratives that wish to be told through you.
Maybe you’ve woken up from a dream with the idea for a creative project or the solution to a problem that’s been plaguing you. Or maybe you’ve lost yourself in the flow state of creation while the hours slip away. Perhaps you’ve read a line from a book or heard a lyric in a song that seemed like it was placed there specifically for you.
The voice of inspiration whispers to each of us in our own way, and leads us each down our own path. The challenge lies in learning to listen and take inspired action.
While the inciting spark may come from the outside world, the surest path to developing a relationship with your guiding light- your muse, is to journey within.
The techniques you learn in this workshop can be carried forward into an ongoing relationship with the muse that will continue to support you on your journey.
